Zuko Vs Microsoft Clarity for Form Analytics
We often get asked what Zuko Analytics can do that Microsoft Clarity can't.
The truth is that Zuko and Clarity are two separate, but complementary, tools. Clarity is a free, UX analytics platform that can uncover general user behaviour across your website. Zuko specialises in form analytics and optimization - data to make sure that your forms are the best they can be and to increase their completion rates.
To be clear: Microsoft Clarity does not offer form analytics as part of its feature set so, if you are looking at forms then Zuko is what you need to diagnose UX problems. Indeed, given the affordability of both tools, many businesses use them together to get a full picture of their website and its forms.
That said, we love a feature comparison table. Here is the comparison based on form analytics only but, it’s obviously pretty biased towards Zuko given that Clarity doesn't do form tracking at all!
Things Zuko Doesn’t do that Clarity Does
Clarity has a number of features that Zuko does not have (because we focus solely on forms) including heatmaps and scroll tracking. Both platforms offer session recording but Zuko's is filterable by form behaviour events such as abandonment point, error messages and field interactions.
Zuko vs Clarity Pricing for Form Analytics
As mentioned earlier, Clarity is generally free of charge although it does have a paid offering at an enterprise level. The free nature of the software means that customer service does not come as standard - you are left on your own to work out set-up and data interpretation. Although there is a subscription charge for Zuko, it comes with access to our award winning customer success team as standard - we'll make sure you are tracking correctly and help you build hypotheses to improve your form's UX.
Here's what our customers think
"We use Clarity and Zuko together. Clarity shows us what people are generally doing on the site whereas Zuko let's us really drill down to what is happening on our forms on a field-by-field basis. The combination is very powerful."
